Purpose and Scope: The Assistant Manager ensures a consistently memorable customer shopping experience and achieves results through optimizing customer engagement, developing talent and increasing productivity, while delivering the highest level of integrity standards.Responsibilities: Serves as the Customer Experience Leader to motivate and lead the team to drive sales by creating the Ralph Lauren Experience for our customers. The CEL owns the results of their segment for interactions with the internal/external customer, the product, the look and the energy of the store. 40% of TimeLeads the opening duties of Communication and strategy, Work Force Management maintenance, Financials review, Daily planning and Conducts sales rally(s). Leads the closing duties of the Daily Communication wrap-up, Edits leadership and team DPA(s) as needed, and updates the CEL tracker with daily results. 20% of TimePrioritizes goals, assignments, daily and weekly tasks; Conducts audits of store processes, Back of House, Point of Sale, Markdowns, Signage, RFID, On-boarding, Ralph Lauren Capture. 20% of TimeSupport maintenance of product presentation; Educate team on current product knowledge. 10% of TimeParticipate in identifying, recruiting and selecting high-caliber, non-exempt talent; Provide feedback, coaching and guidance to support others in their development. 10% of Time
Skills and Requirements:College Degree or equivalent preferredMinimum of four years retail management experience as an Assistant Manager or above in a complex, high-volume, high-profile or multi-unit specialty retailer environment Strong business acumen and skill-set which enables the management and development of staffStrong communication and inter-personal skillsEnthusiasm and ability to build and maintain an environment which projects a high level of taste and sophistication consistent with Polo?s lifestyle philosophyAbility to maneuver around the sales floor, stock room and officeAbility to operate the register and fold merchandise Moderate lifting and climbing requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening, weekend and overnight shifts; some travel may be required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
